To take on a trip as ambitious as the Swift Pacific Adventure, the boat must feature the most modern innovations in naval construction. The first impression of the Swift Trawler 47, for obvious reasons, starts with her exterior. Her modern body style is sleek, yet she is just as tough as she is beautiful. Just off the transom, her hydraulic swim platform is designed not only for easy access to the water for swimming and diving but also to quickly launch and retrieve a dingy with a maximum weight capacity of 770 pounds.
Once onboard, the transition from the swim platform to the cockpit is seamless as they're both on the same level. Double sliding doors span the entire opening from the cockpit into the salon, offering a welcoming environment. The oversized galley leads to the salon seating and into the main helm station, giving the space a continuous flow — a characteristic unlike any Swift Trawler model before her. The space is perfect for entertaining guests or preparing generous meals while onboard. Below deck, the master stateroom features an en suite head with separate shower; there are also two guest staterooms and a day head with an enclosed shower.
Another innovation that makes a strong impression is the optional flybridge hardtop. This feature is significant in that the boat was engineered from its inception to maintain a category B offshore stability rating with the additional weight almost 19’ off the water’s surface. This hardtop also protects the oversized flybridge seating area and the secondary helm station. This additional arrangement offers great visibility and command of the twin Cummins 425 HP engines. The power plant in conjunction with the hull design makes her an efficient cruising boat at displacement speeds while also boasting a top speed in excess of 25 knots.
